What I Do

XHTML & CSS

I have approximately two years of experience writing semantic HTML as plain text, without the use of any WYSIWYG editors. I take pride in adhereing strictly to standards and making sure anything I work on is accessible to widest possible audience. I try to ensure that no physical handicap or choice of platform and browser will impede the user's enjoyment of the site.

JavaScript & AJAX

I have one year of experince with JavaScript and AJAX including working with progressive enchancement in mind, so that users who do not have JavaScript (either because their PDA doesn't support it or because they want to reduce security risks) do not feel like they have received a reduced experience. I also am familiar with standard object orientated techinques and DOM manipulation.

PHP

I have one year of experience with PHP and posess basic experience with PHP 5's object orientated functionality. I also have experience using PHP to operate on XML documents and manipulate images.

MySQL

I have one year of experience with MySQL. While I am not qualified to fill the more complex roles of a DBA, I am more than capable of dealing with the writing of routine queries.

Apache

I have basic experience with Apache after using it to serve websites for two years. This includes experience with routine configuration, setting up of virtual hosts, and extensive exeperience using mod_rewrite for SEO, URL formatting, and other purposes.
